Partro vs Channeltivity
Channeltivity is the mid-market PRM with a long track record in IT/telecoms and a deserved reputation for solid deal-registration tooling. Partro is the newer, channel-first CRM-and-PRM-in-one that competes on price, speed, and a unified data model. Here's the honest read.
TL;DR. Channeltivity wins if you already have a Salesforce/HubSpot CRM and need a mature, bolt-on PRM with strong deal-reg. Partro wins if you want CRM + PRM in one tool, transparent per-seat pricing, and a same-day setup.

When Channeltivity wins
- You're committed to Salesforce or HubSpot. Channeltivity's managed-package integrations are mature and well-supported. If you've standardised on either CRM, Channeltivity is a low-friction add-on.
- Deal registration is your top priority. Channeltivity has been refining deal-reg flows for over a decade. The product is genuinely strong here.
- You sell in IT/telecoms. Channeltivity's customer base skews this way; the product configurations and language reflect those workflows.
- You don't want to wait for new feature releases. Mature product = stable. Less innovation, fewer breaking changes.
When Partro wins
- You don't have a CRM yet. Channeltivity assumes you do. Partro replaces both, one bill, one database.
- You want modern UX. Channeltivity's interface, while functional, feels dated. Partro is built on a recent design system.
- You want per-user pricing transparency. Channeltivity pricing isn't public; Partro is $49/seat/month on the marketing site.
- You're under 100 partners. Channeltivity's price floor (~$1,500/mo) gets harder to justify below this scale. Partro starts at $49.
Pricing reality check
Channeltivity doesn't publish pricing on its marketing site. Customer reports + procurement chatter put the realistic numbers at:
- Entry plan: ~$1,500/month minimum (team-based).
- Implementation: $2,500–8,000 one-time.
- Annual contracts. Typically 1-year commitments.
For a 10-user team, Channeltivity runs ~$1,500–2,500/month all-in. Partro runs $490/month. If Channeltivity's Salesforce integration is load-bearing for your stack, that gap may be worth it. If not, Partro is the lower-friction choice.
Channeltivity is a respectable, mature PRM that does what it says. Partro is the newer, cheaper, faster-to-set-up alternative — particularly if you don't already have a CRM tying you down.
